Pretty Dreams Photography is very proud to be a member of APNPI and is now thrilled to announce that I am officially certified to their standards of care, newborn safety and newborn photography.
It’s truly an honour after going through a very rigorous process to meet their qualifications in safety and photography. What is APNPI you may ask? The APNPI is the Accredited Professional Newborn Photographer’s Association created by newborn photographers specifically for newborn photographers.
Why certification is important?
APNPI accreditation brings professional recognition to newborn photographers and awareness to the public through:
- educating the public on the value and high standards of APNPI certifications and designations, thereby giving professional recognition to APNPI Newborn Photographers.
- leading the way in educating newborn photographers in business, safety, and artistic newborn portraiture.
- APNPI endeavours to provide a safe and diverse community for all photographers.
Newborn safety comes first
The reason I love APNPI is that it gives parents a voice and it also gives photographers the ability to reach a high standard of work while following safety measures and an established code of ethics.
APNPI values and places newborn safety at the forefront of our profession. For this reason, APNPI provides parents with resources to help them select a safe photographer who has gone through their rigorous certification program that meets the association’s requirements.

Current Bookings and Lockdown in place
As of January 30th, 2021, I am following the Ontario provincial lockdown that started on December 26th, 2020, I am currently closed as we are a non-essential service defined on Ontario’s closure mandate list. I look forward to hearing from you for any future session bookings.
