Portrait of a Dancer

Posted in: Children, Dance

Good morning everyone, as I sit here to write this blog I have the most perfect view of the colourful leaves and stunning landscape views. I truly can’t believe we are already in the fall season.

It’s truly my favourite season, I’m loving the warm crisp air, pumpkin spice lattes and the leaves that make each day so beautiful. This summer went by like a blink of an eye; it was full of amazing portrait sessions and amazing kids.

Below I have included highlight’s from Angie’s dance session gallery. Dance sessions have such a special place in my heart, as dancers are truly amazing in every sense of the word.

They have such grace, power, elegance and make everything look effortless, even though it takes hours of work and dedication.

I treat my dance sessions similar but different from my Heirloom sessions as with dancers you need to find that balance of grace and beauty and still try to show emotion when capturing the technical aspects. Dance portraits are all about finding that beautiful balance.

So without further waiting here are some of Angie and her family’s favourite images picked during their gallery reveal. I hope you love them as much as they do!
