Pretty Dreams Photography Christmas Storybook Portrait Experience 2021
Pretty Dreams Photography’s goal with the Storybook Christmas Experience is to provide your children with a truly memorable experience in a storybook-styled interactive way, one they will never forget. At the same time, we want to provide your family with beautiful heirloom portraits that will be treasured for a lifetime. I have selected truly stunning products from Italy that you will cherish for a lifetime and generations to come.
After you book your portrait session you will receive a phone call from me to plan out the children’s wardrobe, as I supply most sizes from my client closet and get to know a little bit about the children, you will then get a personalized letter from Santa inviting them to the Studio for a Christmas Adventure, I will be adding Santa to a few images in post-production this year. Due to COVID-19, I have opted to not have a real Santa; plus, little ones will sometimes do better with imaginative play.
When they arrive, they will meet me and I show them the set and you will get them changed into some beautiful wardrobe pieces selected by me to match the scene you have chosen, we will start at their own pace and our sessions are never rushed.
During the phone conversation, you will choose one of the two scenes planned this year Was the night before Christmas, where they will participate in Christmas stories and activities depending on the age, or Cooking in grandmas’ kitchen where they will make real cookies, crack eggs, decorate them and even take them home. It’s a magical and often humorous event.
During this time, I will capture the event for you. After the session, we will make an appointment for you to come back into the studio to view 15-20 of the best images which I will have turned into beautiful art pieces. You can purchase the basic package or all of the portraits in the upgraded menu with an album or upgraded wall art collection, it is up to you! we never put pressure on a client as they set their own budget.
We offer a variety of products from Christmas Cards and gift-sized portraits to beautifully framed canvas and albums all from Italy, in the most beautiful HD Fine Art Prints that will last for generations to come and are not available in our local market. Our most cherished item is the custom Storybook Heirloom Album that tells the story of your children’s time in a storybook fashion and at the end, you can write a personalized note or story on the very last page!
Covid Measures & Protocols
For the Storybook Christmas Experience, there will be a low volume of sessions we accept each year. For 2021, we are further reducing the number of available sessions to provide for a safer, cleaner environment for our clients and staff. Only one session each morning will occur so there is plenty of time to clean and disinfect.
Our studio is well ventilated with high ceilings and good airflow and an air purifier installed. At this time, masks will be required for adults attending the sessions and we are currently limiting visiting parents/guests to two per session. If you have a family, group of kids larger than 5, please let us know so we can schedule appropriately. We do ask that if you or your children are sick or have been exposed recently to someone with COVID19 that you wait 2 weeks and reschedule as a COVID-19 waiver is needed prior to booking. If you or your children get sick/test positive, we will reschedule your appointment.

These will take place at my brand new professional portrait studio in North Gower Ontario ( 15 mins from Ottawa )
Our creative fee is $110 . This is 60% off at this time *This does not include Prints or Digitals or Packages* Here is what you get with the Creative fee

If you want to upgrade from the original basic package you can pick from the list below but it is not mandatory, It’s only if you want more then the basic package, The below packages include wall art and albums ,but an upgrade to the basic. At the time of the reveal you can either choose the basic package or go with one of the upgraded packages.
